Our Process

1 . INQUIRE & DISCOVERY CALL

Send in a contact form and tell us about your vision, planned investment in wedding photography services, and tell us a little more about how you found us/what spoke to you about our work.

We will set up a discovery call, where you will meet Cade and I, learn more about what it’s like to work with us on your wedding day, and chat about collection customization to fit your needs.

After our call, we will send you our proposal, and give 2 weeks for you to review and let us know what you’ve decided.

2 . CONTRACT & BOOKING WALKTHROUGH

Once you’ve let us know that you’re going with our proposal (YAY!!), we will set up some time to review the contract together, walking you through the contract and answering questions.

The contract, invoice, and payment plan will be sent to you, where the signatures will be needed, and your retainer will be required to be paid within 2 weeks of receiving the documents.

3 . PLANNING

Throughout the planning process, we will meet for our comprehensive timeline call, schedule a venue walkthrough, and a finalization call to get all of the final details put together.

4 . PARTY TIME

Now that your wedding day is here, we will take everything from the planning stage, and incorporate this into our process and presence while covering your wedding day! Supporting you and celebrating with you, preserving your day.

5 . DELIVERY

Within 3 days after your wedding, I will send over a few sneak peeks of the moments we captured while celebrating with you. After that, expect your full gallery to be sent to you 6-8 weeks post-event!

YES! Cade and I will both travel throughout and between Virginia and North Carolina. There is a $150 travel fee for him or myself, depending on where we will venture to for your wedding day.
For Weddings: A good timeframe to book me for your wedding would be at the very least 12 months out.
For Sessions: On my booking page, all sessions available can be booked within my availability as far as 8 weeks in advance.
I sure am, and will be more than happy to provide proof of such for wedding venues and other wedding vendors!
My second photographer is also licensed and insured as well, ensuring we are both protected and properly represented.
I do, and have contracts that are tailored to each and every wedding or session booking I get!
The reason? Honesty and concise communication. They are there to protect you as a client and me as a business. Each contract outlines your booking, payment schedules, my policies, deliverables, expectations, rights, and even editing tools, so you know everything you need to.
I even offer meetings to review contracts together, one on one, so you can ask questions in real time and to eliminate the unexpected.
A 30% non-refundable retainer is due when you sign the contract for all weddings and sessions to secure your date and lock you in if you need to reschedule.
All other Payments are prescheduled for you, and outlined on the invoice page attached to your contract. HoneyBook has an option for you to set up autopay on the future remaining payments. Your first payment will always be due at booking, and your last payment is always due the day before your booking.
All payment information and schedules can be viewed in your client portal, which is always accessible to you! A user friendly and accessible layout offering clear communication of expectations, and eliminating any unexpected expense surprises.
The Backyard, and Essential Collections each include complimentary engagement sessions within their design. Additional sessions can be booked and added at their listed price to these collections
The Complete Collection includes complimentary engagement and bridal sessions, bringing the full trifecta experience.
First, I never can decide, so don’t feel discouraged!
You are always welcome to send me styles you are thinking about wearing or changing into, to get my insights and opinion on what would fit the feel of the session better.
At the end of the day, this is your session. Wear what feels comfortable to you that reflects you as the human you are.
My first recommendation for every session is to find a location that means something to you. A place that holds sentiment, like where you had your first date or a location that makes you feel free.
If you aren’t sure where to go for your session, I do scout out locations while I am driving around, and have a couple of locations that I keep in my back pocket we can choose from as well.
I will work with you to reschedule to another date that align on both of our schedules!
You can Download all of your photos at once, or one by one, as High Resolution downloads straight to your camera roll, directly from your gallery link!
Download your select favorites, one by one:
- Open your private gallery link, and select your first favorite.
- On the option bar above the photo, select the down-pointed arrow option to open the download menu.
- Select the first option “Download to Mobile”. The photo will load on a new screen.
- Press and hold on the photo after it’s loaded, and select “Save to Photos”!
Download All Photos at once:
- Open your private gallery link, and scroll down to see all the photos I’ve included for you!
- There will be three lines that appear in the top left corner.
- When you select that menu, there is a “Download All Photos” option you can select, which will give you the “Download All Photos - High-Res option.
- A download page will appear; select the first option “Download to Mobile” to import them straight to your phone’s camera roll!
